ost of you all know my fascination (obsession) with music. Well... This past Saturday night, June 13. I
went to a show with my good friends Josh, and Rachel. The artist 
name is Ben Kweller. Here is a little brief history on this artist for you all. Ben Has 4 Solo records. He released his latest album "Changing Horses" in February this year. He wrote the songs on this album 13 years ago. The album is different then his previous work. It has a more old time country/folk sound to it, and still sounds amazing. At the end of every show he does, (at least every show I have attended) he always goes to the merch table and converses with his fans. That to me is what I like that sets him apart from other artist I have encountered with over the years. Those two pictures at the top where taken over 4 years ago at one of his shows.
Anyway...he did 2 encores in this show I went too on Saturday. About 3/4 of the crowd had left already. We waited about 10 minutes, then him and his band came on stage with his little son (about 3 years old). They carry him on stage straight to the drums, and little guy just starts hammering away! It was the coolest thing, so cute! Whatch the video!
